| Description: | Our client is looking for a talented Digital & Motion Designer (mid-level) to join the growing team. The primary purpose of the job will be to create digital assets for our motion graphic and digital campaign needs. ● Design on-brand creative assets for a variety of digital channels: websites, social media advertising graphics, display campaigns, email templates, brand campaigns and motion for video. ● Collaborate with a remote team of designers to deliver on creative that are conceptually strong, brand-appropriate and aligns with brand standards. ● Take briefs from concept to roll-out. Working with the operations team, project managers, co-designers and developers to execute. |

| General Requirements: | JOB DETAILS Position Title - Digital & Motion Designer Location - Remote Position (Must reside in Cape Town, role will become hybrid and you will be required to go into the office 2 -3 times a weeks) Job Type - Full time Start Date - ASAP Salary Market related YOUR ROLE & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES ● Design on-brand creative for multiple digital channels across selected clients ● Design and create engaging motion graphic content & assist in creation of storyboards ● Remote team collaboration on projects & campaigns ● Participate in briefing and brainstorming sessions to share ideas ● Scope on briefs & provide time estimates to operational team ● Assist in selecting appropriate audio & graphic styles for projects and campaigns ● Encoding, converting and editing videos for packaging during production ● Stay on top of trends, technologies and useful tools in the field. PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES ● Strong interpersonal & communication skills ● Ability to uphold brand style guidelines and produce channel-appropriate work ● Ability to solve challenges through digital design ● Manage time effectively, ability to multitask and meet deadlines ● Detail-oriented individual who reviews work carefully and maintains quality control ● Self starter with the ability to work independently and collaborate with a team ● Comfortable speaking and presenting to clients MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Essential: ● Matric ● Relevant Graphic Design diploma or tertiary qualification ● Must come from an agency environment ● Strong competence in Sketch & Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) ● A strong design portfolio, including examples of motion work ● Proven experience in designing motion graphics ● Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role. |
